The Challenge
Requests were handled over WhatsApp and email and needed details such as car choice, time, route, passenger count and sometimes a flight number.
The Solution
The form asks for car class, date and time, passenger count, flight number for Schiphol, pickup and drop-off point, name, phone, email and notes. Customers pick a fixed Schiphol route, a custom ride or a tour. The site is in nine languages and also links to WhatsApp.
The Result
Customers send all ride details in one go, including the flight number, in their own language.
Build details
- Every route and tour has a price per car class. For €25 a pickup with a name sign in the arrivals hall can be added.
- The server checks every request for route, price, capacity, times and blocked days. A fixed Schiphol ride must be requested at least two hours ahead, a custom ride 24 hours ahead.
- The driver gets the request by email and the customer a confirmation in their own language, including Arabic and Chinese.
- A fixed Schiphol ride is paid in the car; tours and custom rides take a 25% deposit through Mollie. The driver confirms every ride personally: no live calendar, no booking subscription and no commission per ride.
- The owner has an admin page with phone bookings, invoices and a VAT overview per quarter.
